Director: Milos Forman
One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest is one of those movies that uses character development effectively. The film utilizes close-up shots of the characters instead of panoramic views (which is quite useless because the mental hospital is not that much to look at) or those angular shots that shouts ART. Its dependency to its characters is the reason why the actors here won the Oscars (both Nicholson and Fletcher did).
